The Real Mary King’s Close souvenir guide

Opened in 2003, The Real Mary King’s Close is an award-winning five star attraction located in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town. The one hour tour offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the city’s dark past and follow in the footsteps of its former residents.

Nugget Creative was asked to produce a 40 page souvenir brochure honouring The Closes’ rich history and recounting the myths and mysteries surrounding the people who lived, worked and died there.

The design took its visual cues from The Tour’s existing literature, and was printed using high quality finishes including cover lamination and a perfect bound spine.

The brochure proved to be such a hit in the attraction’s gift shop that an additional print run, including a Spanish version, were produced the following year.
